  1. Longtime paid user of Inoreader here. I use the Inoreader web interface (desktop) and the News+ app on Android with the Inoreader extension (which in turn uses the Inoreader third-party API). The Android setup with Inoreader through News+ has worked reliably for years. However, as of around December 1, 2015 I'm experiencing sporadic sync issues when syncing changes made in News+ up to the Inoreader web interface. Here's what's happening: Read several articles in News+, or "Mark all as read" in a feed Perform a "sync" in News+ to make sure the Inoreader server is notified of read items View the Inoreader web interface Expected result: The items I read in News+ are marked "read" in the Inoreader web interface Actual result: The items read in News+ still show "unread" in the web interface I am a daily user of News+ and Inoreader for years and I'm inclined to suspect a problem on the Inoreader API side rather than News+. I say that because the News+ app has not been updated in months, the News+ Inoreader extension is unchanged in years, and there are no other recent changes to my device or Android version. Essentially, all other code involved is unchanged and has worked consistently for months or years up to this point. Mods/Inoreader staff: Any recent changes to the API, platform or availability issues that would be causing trouble here? I've noticed the issue multiple times over the past several days, which suggests more than a one-off glitch. Thanks for a great service.

    Sync issues

I LOVE the new Android app! The only issue I have with it is that its syncing is sketchy. I use the "view only unread" view. When I mark all as read, I think all the articles should disappear and it should reload with any new articles that came out since it last synced. However, when I click mark all as read, it just makes the text normal instead of bold and doesn't clear anything away. Then I have to open the sidebar and click All Articles again just to have it reload
  3. Great to see that the "Saved web pages"-feature made it to the iOS app but I have one issue with it. For me it just synced my five latest saved pages. I suspect it has something to do with how long ago i saved them, since all pages that's more than four weeks old doesn't get synced, which is the same limit unread articles in the RSS feed have before they are marked as read automatically. Is there a fix for this or do I have to save the pages again?
  4. I have many feeds and tags in subscriptions, but not all of them are comfortable to read in mobile phone. So from more than 100 subscriptions I read only 10 of them in mobile phone, other I read only in normal computer. Reading offline are very useful feature, with it I can read feeds in places without internet. But if I enable "Synchronize feeds" device will download all feeds, but I need only 10 of them, so it waste device free space and traffic. Will be good if we have option for select favorite feeds and tags and sync for offline access only them. This feature was have many other Google Reader apps (Reader+, JustReader, etc), and will be good to see it in InoReader android app.
  5. Like many of you, I try out many readers and associated mobile clients (Android in my case). It's pretty sad, but most of the RSS platforms simply do not work. Even more common names like NewsBlur are hopelessly slow and just don't sync properly, not to mention that I cannot get used to their bizarre interface. TT-RSS is promising but is a bear to setup and maintain, and I think is "supported" by one person. Feedly is cool but who knows when they will step up and offer filters? InoReader seems to be the only platform that works, has fast servers, and is constantly being updated by the developers, and has a reasonable feature set that includes working filters. I'm sitting here with my desktop (Firefox) UI open and my (Android) tablet open using News+ (with the InoReader plugin.) The sync is flawless and happens within seconds, in either direction. Very nice.
