  1. Localizability Issues

    Hi, The following messages seem to use string concatenation but it sometimes make hard to translation. 2. Hi, The following messages are untranslatable: <domain> is blocking our emails. Use different email address or %s to manually confirm your email. Notification bar when above situation. <domain> is currently blocking our emails. Just use the button below and we will automatically confirm your email address. CHAPTCHA dialog. Confirming... Confirming to change e-mail address. Is Inoreader slow for you? Try our %s mirror. Notification bar. Regards. EDIT: The following too. %s like this. On profile and other. %d subscribers On dropdown menu of search bar and other.
  3. HI, I confirmed that https connection works properly now. Thx
  4. Hi, https://jp.inoreader.com doesn't show the menu bar, articles, footer, context menu of subscriptions on tree pane... http://jp.inoreader.com seems to work properly. Screenshot is taken on Firefox for Linux (safe mode). Google chrome is also same. BTW, thak you for providing jp mirror. Thx

    typo: s/Riles/Rules/ Thx
  6. Hi, I approve this request. Arial/Helvetica don't include all language's fonts (i.e. non-alphabetical) so those aren't same as Sans-serif on non-alphabetical user's environment. It should be: (Use Arial/Helvetica as fallback) This is normal way to specific font families. BTW, Preferences > Interface > Articles font family seems to show only alphabetical fonts, is it intentional? IMHO, It makes no sense for non-alphabetical users. Thx
  7. How does "Reminder for starred articles" work?

    Oh, Okay, I understand:)
  8. Hi, I suppose the Preferences > Behavior > Emails from Inoreader > Reminder for starred articles option sends an e-mail when one article is starred. So I tried to star some articles manually and automatically by rule, but there seem to be no notifications. Do I misunderstand? or is this a problem? Thx
  9. Problems with Pootle

    If it means that the forcibly changing plural-form feature can be disabled, I'd like to do that. If not (still forcibly keep one of other form in Pootle), no thank you (I believe such as configurations should be under control of translators) Thank you for your concern.
  10. Problems with Pootle

    Well...steps to reproduce is... (lang is ja_JP): 1. Download and open .po file. 2. Change plural-form in the header from: nplurals=1; plural=0; to: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1); /* not standard of ja_JP */ And edit translation of plural strings according to plural-form: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1); msgid "%s feed" msgid_plural "%s feeds" msgstr[0] "%s XXXX" msgstr[1] "%s XXXX" msgid "Next item" msgid_plural "Next %s items" msgstr[0] "YYYY ZZZZ" msgstr[1] "YYYY %s ZZZZ" 3. Save and upload the .po file: 4. Edit the translation of pluralized string on Pootle online editor from: msgid "%s feed" msgstr "%s XXXX" to: msgstr "%s WWWW" 5. Submit translation .po file is force changed by Pootle as follow: Plural-Forms: nplurals=1; plural=0; ←<1> msgid "%s feed" msgid_plural "%s feeds" msgstr[0] "%s WWWW" ←<2> msgid "Next item" msgid_plural "Next %s items" msgstr[0] "YYYY ZZZZ" msgstr[1] "YYYY %s ZZZZ" ←<3> <1> plural-from is overwritten to standard of ja_JP. <2> Edited translation on Pootle is changed according to the <1> (drop msgstr[1]). <3> Any other translation of pluralized strings are not changed (msgstr[1] is remaining). In the result, .po file is broken.
  11. Problems with Pootle

    Oops, sorry, I noticed that this is ambiguity but not the reason now, this was the reason. Format of this plural string should be different in the past. This issue is just FYI.
  12. Problems with Pootle

    Hi, I noticed that Pootle breaks .po files under the following conditions: Plural forms is different from unicode CLDR(?) or any standards. Translate usually offline, sometimes online. Yes, this might be fairly rare case Result: Pootle overwrites plural form (according to standard) and removes empty or edited pluralized strings like follow: --- messages.po.before 2016-02-22 16:16:18.586436046 +0900 +++ messages.po 2016-02-22 17:20:37.000000000 +0900 @@ -8,16 +8,16 @@ "Project-Id-Version: InoReader Japanese 1.0\n" "Report-Msgid-Bugs-To: \n" "POT-Creation-Date: 2016-02-22 06:10+0200\n" -"PO-Revision-Date: 2016-02-22 16:16+0900\n" +"PO-Revision-Date: 2016-02-22 08:20+0000\n" "Last-Translator: Masato <cabezon.hashimoto@gmail.com>\n" "Language-Team: Japanese\n" "Language: ja\n" "MIME-Version: 1.0\n" "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8\n" "Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit\n" -"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1);\n" +"Plural-Forms: nplurals=1; plural=0;\n" ← overwritten "X-Generator: Pootle 2.5.1.1\n" -"X-POOTLE-MTIME: 1456125024.000000\n" +"X-POOTLE-MTIME: 1456129212.000000\n" #: /var/www/beta_inoreader_com/api.php:749 #: /var/www/beta_inoreader_com/upload_handler.php:15 @@ -1136,8 +1136,7 @@ #, php-format msgid "%s unread article" msgid_plural "%s unread articles" -msgstr[0] "%s 件の未読記事" -msgstr[1] "%s 件の未読記事" ← removed [1] entry +msgstr[0] "%s 件の未読記事 test" ← edited string online #: /var/www/beta_inoreader_com/include/global.php:10457 #, php-format @@ -8576,7 +8575,6 @@ msgid "%s member of your organization" msgid_plural "%s members of your organization" msgstr[0] "" -msgstr[1] "" ← removed empty entry #: /var/www/beta_inoreader_com/index.php:2673 msgid "New team" @@ -11757,7 +11755,6 @@ msgid "and %s other" msgid_plural "and %s others" msgstr[0] "" -msgstr[1] "" #: /var/www/beta_inoreader_com/index.php:13475 #, php-format However, existing and not edited plural strings aren't touched so .po file is fatally broken. msgfmt -cvo /dev/null messages.po messages.po:7: nplurals = 1... messages.po:321: ...but some messages have 2 plural forms msgfmt: found 1 fatal error 2855 translated messages, 38 untranslated messages. This ambiguity complicates the translation (as for Japanese at least) Verrrry sorry for toooooo late reply X( Download as zip file works fine so I use it. Thx
  13. Problems with Pootle

    I confirmed the server responded HTTP 500 (HTTP 302, then 500, Firefox doesn't report it explicitly). It reproduces on Firefox (Win&Linux also Safe mode), GoogleChrome(Win&Linux) and IE. Downloading XLIFF works fine. I'll use it tentatively. Yes, I usually click the link to download.
